Driving Directions:
From the Cloister, follow Sea Island Road. Turn left on Frederica Road. Follow Frederica for 3 miles, driving past the airport runway on left. For the Plantation or Seaside Course, continue driving straight toward The Lodge. Security will direct you to parking.

Situated on the southern tip of St. Simons Island, this true oceanside links course places a premium on careful shot selection, recovery, and putting. Updated in 1999 by Tom Fazio and prominently placed on Golf Digest’s list of “Top 100 Courses in the United States,” Seaside has hosted multiple USGA events and is the site of the PGA TOUR’s newest Fall Series event, The McGladrey Classic.

Unfolding among a forest of ancient live oaks and cedars, Plantation was redesigned in 1998 by Rees Jones. Players find a hint of danger lurking in its tidal creeks and lakes, as the course winds through marsh and forest and offers spectacular views of the ocean.
